The Earth Federation fleet flagship, the Andromeda-class lead ship, Andromeda, has been recreated with weathering model paint and is back on the battlefield. With a total length of approximately 190 mm, the ship is larger than Star Blazers in the same series, and not only are each part realistically sculpted, but the various markings are also reproduced just like in the movie. The inside of the bow's diffuse wave gun muzzle and the stern's wave engine nozzle are painted metallically to create a realistic look. A total of four main guns (40.6 cm triple-mounted convergent compression shock wave turrets) are equipped at the front and rear and can rotate. A mini-sized Cosmo Tiger I is also included. This renewed product has been recreated with weathering paint by professional modeler Kei Shimizu.
