STRICT-G JAPAN Miyata Textile "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack" Hanten Sazabi

The "STRICT-G JAPAN" series was created to convey and expand the appeal of Japanese product design and to weave new values, and is a collaboration between the company Miyata Orimono, which started out as a Kurume Kasuri weaver and was founded in 1913.
The second collaboration model is with "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack."

From "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," this model features the Nu Gundam and Sazabi fighting with Axis in the background, with the word "counterattack" written in dynamic brushstrokes on their backs.
The red fabric features a striking navy lining.

The Japanese Modern Series, which offers a more modern twist to materials, colors, and shapes, is a fitted model that has been redesigned from the long-standing style of padded hanten with slimmer sleeves.
It is also recommended for petite and slim people. It fits snugly to the body and keeps you warm.

The outer material is made of a Japanese cotton called "Shirane," which is characterized by its soft texture and delicate woven pattern of white thread.
The weaving of the outer fabric is done in-house in Japan, and the cotton filling and stitching are done carefully by hand, one by one, making this a carefully crafted garment.
