"MIKA AKITAKA's MS Girls NOTE" is a work that attempts a new publishing method, being serialized every two weeks on the website "Yatate Bunko."
I had been drawing MS Girls for a long time, but I wondered if there was a way to design them differently.
Rather than simply personifying existing Gundams (turning them into girls), the series has been running for about three years with the idea of "creating a new Gundam with MS Girls."
The way it's presented, more like a colored concept drawing than an illustration, could also be seen as a new attempt.
Thankfully, the series will now be compiled into a single book, with new illustrations added, so those who have been following the series will also be able to enjoy it.
I hope to make this a book that even those who haven't seen it before can enjoy. Please look forward to it.
