[About Great Saurus]
In the late 1970s, known as the third monster boom, Popy's "Greatsaurus Series" and "Kingsaurus Series" (sold from 1978 to 1981) appeared. These were collectible toys from "Poppy," a group company of Bandai. The biggest feature of the series is that each character has a foot molded into both of their feet, which is why the series is also known as the "foot mold series." At the time, Greatsaurus featured a selection of characters from the Kingsaurus series in giant size. As part of the Godzilla 70th anniversary project, the historic Godzilla soft vinyl figure "Greatsaurus" has been faithfully reproduced and reissued using a new mold.
