Humanity had fled deep underground after an unprecedented catastrophe known as the "Tears of the New Moon," and after the collapse of the underground city-state of "Amasia," they were beginning to walk with hope for life on the surface once again.
People have formed settlements called "Nests" all over the surface of the Earth. They fight against the "Enders" that still plague the surface of the Earth as a threat to humanity, and the adventurers who mine "AO Crystals," an energy resource necessary for the operation of the Nests, are called "Drifters."
In "Rock Town," a nest where such Drifters gather, Kanata, a young man who dreams of becoming a Drifter himself one day, discovers a beautiful Magus sleeping in a dilapidated museum while exploring with Tokio, a skilled Drifter.
Through an encounter with the mysterious Magus "NOIR", the story of destiny begins to move little by little...
