Some time has passed since the end of the Universal Century, a history of space immigration and space war.
Entering a new era, the Regild Century (RC), it was thought that humankind's activities and prosperity would continue as they were, in peace.

Capital Tower is an orbital elevator that rises from the ground and connects Earth to space.
It is a sacred place because it brings photon batteries, the Earth's source of energy, from space.
Bellri Zenam, a trainee for the Capital Guard, an organization organized to protect the Capital Tower, is attacked by the G-Self, a high-performance mobile suit developed by no national technology, during his first training.
Bellri engages in combat in the work mobile suit Recten and succeeds in capturing the G-Self.
However, Bellri senses something special about the space pirate girl who is piloting the G-Self, who calls herself Aida Rayhunton.
The same was true of the G-Self, whom he had never seen.
And for some reason, Bellri activates the G-Self, which is not supposed to function unless certain conditions are met.
The space pirates who attack the Capital Tower and Aida's objectives, the fate that awaits Bellri after being chosen by the G-Self, and a truth that will shake up the entire Regild Century awaits at the end.
This was all just the beginning of the Reconguista.
