The first exhibition to look back on and examine the work of Director Yoshiyuki Tomino, who has served as general director of many original animations, including Mobile Suit Gundam, has been made into a film, titled "The World of Yoshiyuki Tomino"! Interviews were conducted with the curator who planned the Tomino exhibition, as well as the production staff and producers who have been involved in Director Tomino's works, and the film reconstructs the work through dialogue with famous creators, making this a must-see documentary movie for fans that delves into the secrets of Director Tomino's creations!

This documentary content explores the appeal of the "The World of Tomino Yoshiyuki" exhibition, and attempts to highlight the unique techniques and craftsmanship that Tomino Yoshiyuki has embedded in his vast body of work. It includes interviews with the curator who planned the exhibition, as well as the production staff and producers who have worked on Director Tomino's work, and a documentary movie reconstructed from footage including discussions with well-known creators.

[About the "The World of Tomino Yoshiyuki" Exhibition]
This is the first exhibition to look back on and examine the work of Space Runaway IDEON 1941 in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture), who has had a major impact on the anime scene both in Japan and overseas, having served as general Mobile Suit Gundam of the Gundam series, including Aura Battler Dunbine BLUE GALE XABUNGLE (1979), which became a major social phenomenon, as well as Space Runaway Ideon (1980), Combat Mecha Xabungle (1982), The Movie 's Counterattack Dunbine (1983), and the film version of G Reconguista (2019-/5-part series).
This exhibition surveys Tomino's work over the last 55 years, from his early days when he joined Mushi Production and was involved in the production of Astro Boy, to the present. It also examines the visual characteristics of each work he has directed, based on original materials such as Tomino's hand-drawn storyboards, design drawings by creators who worked with him, original drawings, and cels used in filming. Tomino's multifaceted activities and talents, such as novels that delve into the world of his own works and lyrics for theme songs, are also not to be missed. This exhibition focuses on these aspects, unraveling the impact he has had on the times and people, and the messages he has continued to convey.
