Koshu Inden is a unique technique that involves lacquering deerskin.
Among them, the oldest is Inden-ya Uehara Yuichi, a long-established Koshu Inden store that also plays a key role in preserving the culture.

The popular collaboration between Mobile Suit Gundam and Inden-ya, released in the spring of 2018, has been remade into a new color version to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam, after it sold out. The cowhide on the inside has been changed to a new color with a Gundam and Char motif, and there are two deerskin colors for each of the Gundam and Char versions.

This business card holder is a version of Amuro's eternal rival, Char Aznable. The design features black lacquer on red deerskin, which is his image color, and the lacquer features the mark of the Principality of Zeon. The cowhide on the inside is a color inspired by Char's Zaku.

While the shape is standard and timeless, you can enjoy the deerskin that fits comfortably in your hand and the smooth lacquer to your heart's content. Please enjoy the traditional crafts that are handmade in Japan by craftsmen who have inherited the traditions of over 400 years since the company was founded.

<Precautions for use>
- Lacquer may crack or peel off during use, but this is due to the characteristics of lacquer.
Even if the item is unused, cracks may occur around seams and bends.
- Deerskin has many scratches caused by horns rubbing against it, but this is due to the characteristics of deerskin.

*The pattern may vary slightly from product to product depending on how the leather is cut and sewn.
Also, during the lacquering process, some parts of the pattern may chip (splash).
We take great care when making our products, and each one is hand-finished by a craftsman.
