In the early 1980s, known as the Gunpla boom, many modelers came up with various creative ideas to create Gunpla, thinking, "What if MS really existed?"
When The Movie trilogy was released, Okawara-sensei's MS illustrations featured MS with military-style color schemes and markings, and many modelers adopted this method to express realistic MS in Gunpla, which became established as a finishing touch. After that, the 1/100 Real Type MS series was commercialized, and the theme of "realism" has continued to be expressed by many modelers in various approaches up to the present day.
For this product, the tones of the primary colors have been toned down, and the color scheme has been designed to easily express the atmosphere of the "realistic color" that many modelers tried to achieve at the time.
Each marking has been made into a decal based on the image of a marking that was popular at the time.
For those of a certain generation who feel nostalgia, adding the silver touch known as "hagechoro" may further enhance the nostalgia.

From "Mobile Suit Gundam" MSV, the 21st century arrangement of the Real Type Color Ver. produced by Meijin Kawaguchi has been commercialized in the HGUC series. It uses chic molding colors and comes with water transfer decals that reproduce the characteristic markings of the Real Type series!
