Aikatsu Academy! is a new franchise project of the AIKATSU! series that was launched in 2012. It aims to create a new AIKATSU! together with fans through "new idol activities." The three main characters are new idols Himeno Mieru, Mami Yume Mee, and Wao Parin. They dream of becoming top idols and broadcast their daily activities on YouTube.
The three members mainly broadcast live on the official YouTube channel "Aikatsu Academy! Streaming Department" every Saturday from 8pm, but also broadcast on their own personal channels.
Then, at the online live "Brand Muse Fest" held on Saturday, November 23rd, it was announced that Rindo Time would be joining the streaming team as a new member, and the four of them have now started their idol activities!
This time, we interviewed four members of the "Aikatsu Academy! Streaming Department" about the appeal and recommended points of the new goods ♪
--First, please introduce yourself.
Himeno Mieru: Yes! Dear everyone, how are you?
I can see it, I can see it, I can see your future as a super idol.
I'm Himeno Mieru! Thank you for joining us today.
Mami Yume: Mimime, Mamime, Mu~! It's Mamimu-mee (Mamimu-mee)~

Wao Palin:Crunch, crunchy!
I'm being reborn today too~ I'm Wao Parin, an aspiring idol! Please help me out!

--Time-san, you just joined the Aikatsu Academy! Streaming Club and did your first stream on November 30th, right?
Time: Yes! I was so nervous...! I've been watching the three of you on stream, so I was really happy to be able to meet you all next to Ohime (Mieru), Meeyan (Mee), and Waotan (Parin), and I was really looking forward to this day! I'm excited to think that I'll be spending many more days with you all!
--Mieru, Mee, and Parin, what is your impression of Time?
See: Taimu-chan's performance is really good... As soon as the song starts, she takes over the atmosphere in an instant, dancing like a butterfly and singing powerfully...! But there are also moments when her words become soft and fleeting... I think it's a miracle combination of the strength that comes from Taimu-chan's own stoicism and her gentle personality... I really love it.
I am the self-proclaimed number one fan of Time-chan! ... Ah, have I said too much...?
Mae: She's a pretty and lovely lady, but when you talk to her she's very approachable and her movements and mannerisms are cute! She's very good at singing and dancing, but her stoic attitude towards herself makes you want to cheer her on and inspires me to try harder too!!
Palin: He's a very kind and funny guy!! And what's attractive about him is that he faces things he's not good at and never gives up on them! Just like Meemee, Parin will also do her best! It gives me courage!
Time：Yeah! I'm so happy... I'm so happy... Thank you. It makes me smile (laughs)
Whenever I'm worried, the three of them always encourage me with positive words. It's very reassuring. Each and every word they give me gives me a lot of energy to move forward!
--What kind of activities does the "Aikatsu Academy! Streaming Club" specifically do?
Mae: We are new idols attending the idol training school "Aikatsu Academy," but even though there are so many other students, we just couldn't make it big...We felt that "This can't go on like this! We want more people to know about us!", so together with Mierun and Parintan, we decided to start our own handmade idol activities in the form of streaming!
See: At school, I take lessons to become a shining idol, but I also use my free time to broadcast on YouTube from the club room or from my own room.
Palin:Our main activity is the live broadcast of "DemiKatsu News" every Saturday from 8pm!
Time: I've been reporting on what happened this week, consulting with the club members, preparing for the next live show, showing fan art, singing songs, and trying all sorts of different things!
--There are acrylic stands on sale in a variety of outfits, such as uniforms, casual clothes, school dresses, and tracksuits, but what are the special features of the acrylic stand of your favorite outfit?
See: I like them all, but I think the school dress 'Pink Blossom Coordinate' (centre of image) is the best...!
This is the first time I've worn a dress since becoming an idol, so it feels special, and seeing the school emblem makes me feel more serious!
Mae: I have a special attachment to each of them so it's difficult to choose just one, but if I had to choose, I would say the uniform acrylic stand (left in the picture) is my favorite. When I look at this stand, I remember the first time I put on the Aikatsu Academy uniform and realized I had taken my first step as an idol, and it makes me feel like I'm back to my roots!
Palin: I put a lot of effort into the poses of each of the Palin acrylic stands, so I hope you'll take a look at them! I tried to create a cool look while still keeping the cheerfulness in them!
The jersey pose was something I especially wanted to do, so I was happy that I was able to do it exactly as I imagined!! (Image on the right)
--Time's goods have also been released recently, right?
Time: That's right! I had the opportunity to see a sample before it was released, and it was so incredibly cute that I found myself staring at it over and over again...! It's like a dream come true that one day I'll be featured in a product!!
--What do you think of the newly released chibi plush toys and acrylic stands?
Time：It turned out so beautifully that I couldn't help but say out loud, "Wow! It's amazing! So cute!" (laughs)
Looking at the 4 acrylic stands lined up side by side makes me feel like I've become a part of the streaming club!!
The chibi plush doll has been recreated down to the smallest detail, including the ribbon on her head, the necklace, and the knit fabric, so you'll want to take a closer look at it!! My favorite earrings are the different shapes on each side, and they've been recreated so pay attention to that too!!
--At Aikatsu Academy, we make dresses and goods while listening to the opinions of the members (listeners) who actually watch the stream. I heard that the members also chose the poses for the rare dress acrylic stand. I would like to ask if there are any points that you would like people to pay particular attention to.
See：What I want you to pay attention to is "The wind is on my side! A soft pose!" The skirt part of the Mieru Rare Dress has many layers of fabric, so I tried to make the most of that in my pose! (Center of image)
Mae: The key points are the facial expression that matches the cool atmosphere of the solo song and the cute and gorgeous skirt of the dress!! Be sure to take her with you when you go out, not just to the amusement park!! (Image on the left)
Palin: I wanted to recreate the image of the song, so I tried to recreate the pose she's walking in the game! I also tried to show her a happy look by using the wink and raising one leg, which she likes to do! (Image on the right)

--Please tell us about your future plans.
See: Yes! With Taimu-chan joining, the next goal for the streaming club is a big live concert to be held in March! Up until now, the streaming club has appeared at festivals sponsored by the school (Aikatsu Academy), but this time, for the first time, the streaming club will be doing a solo live concert produced by Mieru-tachi!
Time: For both me and the streaming team, this will be the first big solo live performance, so I'm excited from now on... but I'm putting my all into AIKATSU! every day!
Palin: We all have lively meetings every day to think about new dresses, set lists and performances, and even come up with a unit name!
Mae: I'm working hard with the sole desire to deliver a wonderful performance to everyone!

--You seem to be really motivated for the live show! Time-chan has only just started streaming, but is there anything you'd like to try on your own channel in the future?
Time: I love singing, so I'd like to challenge myself to sing songs of various genres and share them with everyone.
In addition, I would like to use my experience learning calligraphy to chat about calligraphy and do challenges to see how many pages we can write! Oh! I would also like to do some muscle training together!!
