■What is the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba"?
This TV anime is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, currently being published by Jump Comics, whose original volumes 1 to 23 have sold over 150 million copies in total.
The series began airing in April 2019 and tells the story of a young boy, TANJIRO KAMADO, whose family was killed by demons, who joins Demon Slayer Corps in order to turn his sister, Nezuko, who has also become a demon, back into a human. The heartbreaking story of humans and demons, the terrifying sword fights, and the occasional comical scenes have made the series popular, garnering attention not only in Japan but all over the world.
Then, starting October 16, 2020, the story "Mugen Train Arc", which follows the TV anime "TANJIRO KAMADO Unwavering Resolve Arc", will be released as a theatrical animation, and the TV anime "Entertainment District Arc" is scheduled to air in 2021.
